We have joined forces with the National End of Life Care Programme...
The final report of the National Audit of Cancer Diagnosis in Primary Care was published on 25 November.
The audit was the largest and most comprehensive study of the primary care pathway to cancer diagnosis ever conducted. The report describes the findings of the audits conducted in 2009/10 that covered one in seven practices in England and reflects the work of 18 cancer networks.
The audit provides detailed insights into current clinical practice and raises important questions for future research.
National Audit of Cancer Diagnosis in Primary Care was published by the RCGP’s Clinical Innovation and Research Centre. The report, the press release and slides of the presentation at the launch are available here.
